Our Live Arrival Plus 48 hours Guarantee

We guarantee that your corals will arrive alive, healthy and pest-free, AND stay alive at least 48 hours after delivery.

This is a longer warranty than many local pet stores offer because our livestock is far more hardier and ships better than wild caught corals.

Occasionally a coral will arrive dying or dead (DOA). For us to honor the guarantee, you must then email us notifying us of a problem with a coral, within the first 48 hours after you receive your order. Be very specific about what the problem is and which coral is affected. Phone calls dont count. It must be in writing!!!

After we are notified, we might instruct you to mail the coral & rock, and packing materials back to us by Priority US Mail ($3.00). You must include all of these items for full credit.

Scientific Coral will then credit you in full for the same item on your NEXT order, and you won't be charged for reshipping that item (calculated as the last shipping item, not the first). DOA's after 48 hours will not be considered. DOA items will be replaced only with the same items.

Or, if you wish, we will reship the same item before your next order, and you pay for the cost of reshipping. All other shipping rules would still apply.

You will find other coral suppliers that say they guarantee their corals and fish for a longer period of time. But our feeling is, at some point the livestock dies not due to shipping, but due to the conditions of the new owners tank. We think our guarantee allows plenty of time to acclimate after shipping. Guaranteeing corals beyond 48 hours would result in us having to charge higher prices to cover losses from customers tanks that were not up to high standards. In the end, you would pay more for corals. We think it is fairer to our customers who worked hard to create a healthy tank.
